I am Professor at the Federal Institue of Alagoas (Brazil), and currently, Visiting Researcher at Faculty of Engineering of University of Porto. My research interests is software quality and programmer productivity, which spans the spectrum from software engineering and programming languages.

I have a PhD and MSc in Computer Science from Informatics Center at Federal University of Pernambuco (advisor André Santos and co-advisor Marcio Ribeiro) and a BSc from IFAL (former CEFET-AL).
